~ These fabulous clients wanted something different and special for their little bundle of joy. They decided on a hand painted Beatrix Potter theme ~

Window Treatments

In addition to faux finishes and painting, I really enjoying creating hand painted window treatments. Here are some of my favorites!

~ My first - so probably my favorite ~

we added some detail the rest of the kitchen to match ~

~ These were made to match the jungle motif in a local Orthodontist office ~

~ This went to a home in Laguna ~

Orthodontist Office

This was an incredibly fun job for a local Orthodontist office in Redlands.

Garage Doors

~ Originally plain white metal doors ~

~ The finished product! These should last a very long time.

I used a UV Protectant Sealer on them after the faux finish. ~

These garage doors were originally the chalky red color you see on these few squares.

I faux finished them to appear like dark wood. When viewed up close the "grain" was visible and my clients were very pleased.

Restaurant

This was a large job for a local restaurant.

All the surfaces were plain,

and I completed with several different faux finishes.

Pool Coping & Decking

This was a spectacular home that I had the good fortune to work on. So beautiful. The pool coping, decking and walkways had become discolored and faded under the hot Southern California sun.

Here are a couple of wide shots of the property. Absolutely gorgeous!

This photo was taken in the middle of the job. You can see that some parts of the property have been finished, and others have not.

The darker color on the left is what the coping looked like before I began. The light color on the right is after I've applied the first coat of paint.

If you look at this path from left to right you can see the various stages of my work. The light color is after the first coat of paint, the next color is after the final coat has been applied, and the last is the finished product, completely sealed.

Here is a path in its finished form. The landscaping on this property was really impressive.

Loma Linda Childrens Oncology Clinic

Working on things for children to see while being treated for cancer was incredibly rewarding for me personally. Knowing that my artwork may bring them a little joy brings me happiness. The theme, as you can tell, was "under the sea".
