Patio with Spanish Tile

My clients wanted to transform their 700 square foot cement deck into a "paver look" with inlaid Spanish Tile.

Cabinets & Doors

If you're thinking about replacing cabinets or doors - you know how costly that can be.  However, refinishing them will give your home that updated custom look you desire - for a fraction of the cost.  Here are some "Before's and After's" for you to choose from!

Bathroom vanity - Before
 After
 Another bath "after"
 Kitchen cabinets - Before
After - a beautiful Cherry Wood finish
These cabinets were originally a "pinkish yellow" oak
Now look at the crisp clean white!
Here is an antiqued white look.
A cherry finish

The warm teak "Tommy Bahama" look

The doors and all woodwork in this home were plain white
This is an "in progress" photo of the same door.
And these VERY tall double doors were also plain white
And the finished product!

Hide-A-Cabinet

~ My clients have this galvanized cabinet outside their home which houses the hot water heater.  They wanted to find a way to make it blend in with the home, rather than stand out so prominently. ~
~ I was able to faux paint rocks on the cabinet to help it blend in with the surroundings. ~
~ And, on this side - a little touch of whimsy.  I added some geraniums to match those in their yard. ~

Playworks Redlands

~ I had the great pleasure to be asked to work at Playworks, once again.  They wanted a "Cat in the Hat" theme for one of their rooms.  I'm very pleased with the results! ~

~ And, here is the finished room.  Little fish in his fishbowl, and all! ~

Built-in Bar

~ New built-in bar.  The "Before" ~
~ The "After".  Warm teak with black glazing and antique gold rub with stenciling. ~
~ The opposite side.  Love the granite top.  The colors really "pop" against the dark finish of the wood. ~

Leopard Print Volkswagen Ragtop

My friend owns the cutest beige VW Ragtop.  She thought it needed a little pizazz and wondered if I could paint leopard spots on the top.  I said, "Sure! Why not!"

~ So, here's a before ~
~ And after ~
~ Before ~
~ After ~

The entire job was completed in a few hours.  She looked so classy and cute driving away this afternoon.  She said she got lots of approving looks on the drive home.

Faux Brick Pathway

The above photo was the first "brick" pathway that I faux painted 15 years.  It's still holding up beautifully all these years later.
This photo is MY new "brick" pathway, that is still a work in progress.  I'm enjoying the transformation.

Taylor's Bar & Grill

I was recently asked to transform Taylor's in Redlands, and to give it a lot of character
Using my faux techniques to create a "rustic feel" - Taylor's now has lots of character - and looks like it's an old brick building.  Let's take a look at some fun "before's" and "after's"!
 Before of the front entrance
A work in progress - adding all of the hand painted bricks
Front entrance with faux painted front door
The sign - before - but after the wood had begun it's transformation from green to a more natural dark brown wood finish.
The sign on the east side of the building - after the faux technique

I added a topiary by the front door
Complete with faux cigarette butts in the planter
The owner has to sweep up cigarette butts from the walk way all the time... let them try to sweep this one up!
Another view of the front entrance.  This was while the work was in progress and before I had begun painting the front door.
The brick look was added to the famous smoking room as well!

This is the East Side Entrance
Notice the greenery "growing" under the eves

Another view of the entrance and greenery
One more look at the finished front entrance - complete with antique green shutters from Maine.

This was a great job - and I loved doing it.  I am so pleased with how we were able to transform Taylor's into a rustic antique looking brick building!  Full of character and fun place to hang out.  Hey, the food is really good too!
